Pure nature: Seiser Alm is calling!
Seiser Alm hiking in spring and autumn – a true experience
Spring is the best time for Nordic walking tours through the magnificent mountain area due to moderate temperatures. Furthermore, there are plenty of hiking trails starting directly from or in the near surrounding of our Apartments Pötzes.
Of course, every season is perfect for hiking on the Seiser Alm, but autumn/fall is a highlight for those you like extended hikes around the house. Just go for it! There are hundreds of hiking trails that are connected to each other and allow you to dig into the wonderful world of the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Dolomites every day. Why not exploring the Nature Park Schlern-Rosengarten and climb the Schlern with an elevation of 2,563 m and a panoramic view of 360°?
Every year in the fall, South Tyrol hosts “Törggelen” on rustic farms, as well as numerous events such as the famous Kastelruther Spatzen festival and the traditional “Almabtrieb”.
